Skilled Nursing Services
Skilled nursing services may include:
- RN assessments and care planning
- Medication administration and management
- Wound care and dressing changes
- Injections and prescribed treatments
- Vital sign monitoring
- Chronic disease management support
- Health status monitoring and reporting
- Coordination with physicians and family members
- Pediatric skilled nursing support, when applicable
- Post-hospital and post-surgical care
When Skilled Nursing May Be Needed
Skilled nursing may be appropriate when a client has a medical condition that requires licensed nursing care, ongoing monitoring, or treatment ordered by a physician.
Services are provided in accordance with Maryland Residential Service Agency requirements, physician orders when applicable, and the client’s individualized plan of care.
